This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. Information we collect Camera (barcode scanning) What: Access to your device camera. Why: To scan wine barcodes inside the app. Notes: We do not record or store continuous video. Images are used only to detect barcodes. If scanning requires temporary processing, it is limited to the scan function. Location (store finding) What: Approximate and/or precise location (depending on permissions you grant). Why: To find nearby supported stores and improve store selection. Control: You can use the app without location by manually selecting a store where available. Account and identifiers What: Sign-in information (e.g., Google Sign-In token/ID), and app/device identifiers used to keep sessions working and link purchases to your account. Why: To authenticate you, keep you signed in, and manage premium access. Purchases and subscriptions What: Purchase and subscription status (entitlements), transaction metadata, and restoration status. Why: To enable and manage premium features. Processed by: Google Play Billing and our subscription provider (e.g., RevenueCat) on our behalf. Usage, diagnostics, and logs What: Basic app usage events and error/crash diagnostics (may include device type, OS version, timestamps, and event context). Why: To maintain reliability, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance. Data retention We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legal/financial obligations (e.g., subscription records), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
